Dr Nirmani Abeywardana (Marni)

After completing a dual degree of a Bachelor Oral Health in Dental Science and a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry in the Gold Coast, Dr Marni has experience in working in both public and private dental worlds. She has worked on the beautiful Sunshine Coast for several years. Since having her baby, Marni and her husband decided to move to Brisbane to be closer to city life again.

Dr Marni enjoys role she participates in, providing community health care by assisting her
patients with the preventative approach to dentistry.  Dentistry has come a long way since the
old days, and as such Dr Marni always strives to make all appointments enjoyable and stress
free.

She has a welcoming and approachable attitude and this combined with her relaxed
nature puts patients at ease. She believes in listening to her patients and involving them in
decision making process for the best possible outcome for their dental health. She is happy to
take her time to explain things, so feel free to ask as many questions as you need to. Dr.
Marni enjoys the cosmetic side of dentistry and loves working with her patients to achieve
happiness and confidence in their smile again.

Since little baby Virain has come along, Dr. Marni joins the DentArana team with a new
perspective on life. When she is not practicing Dentistry, Marni enjoys spending time with
friends and family over a cheeseboard and other good healthy nutritious meals. Her most
treasured time is that spent with her family of 4 boys – 2 legged (hubby Dylan and baby
Virain) and 4 legged (Bailey the Cavoodle, and Cooper the Spoodle).
